About Jeffrey Alden Freeman
I grew up in Encinitas, California, spending most of my early years surfing, skating, and figuring out how things work. That mix of creativity and curiosity eventually pulled me toward the digital world.
My brother, who runs Digitopia, was the one who first steered me away from the traditional engineering path and into web development. He recognized that it was the obvious direction to keep me fulfilled in my career, giving me space to build, experiment, and solve problems in ways that felt meaningful. What began as small design experiments grew into a lifelong craft of creating digital systems for teams and brands.
Today I'm a full-stack web engineer focused on clean architecture, performance, and accessibility. I bridge design and development, bringing ideas to life across modern frameworks like Nuxt, Vue, and WordPress, along with robust backend and API systems.
Outside of work, I'm a licensed pilot who finds peace above the clouds, a lifelong gamer inspired by the art and music of Final Fantasy, and a guitarist drawn to French swing, trying to play like Django Reinhardt one phrase at a time. When I'm not deep in code, I'm usually in the ocean, on a board, or somewhere chasing that balance between art, logic, and rhythm.
